Background

Pete White: I have been around trucks all my life, my grandfather and my dad were both truck drivers, my dad started as an owner driver in 1992, which then grew into a small fleet.

I joined the business in 2003. By 2007 I was running all the operations and by 2010 I was also buying our new trucks & trailers and selling our used trucks & trailers. In September 2022 White's Transport Services Ltd scaled down to just a few trucks which Ray could manage himself and that gave me the opportunity to create Sell My Truck Online.

Buying our new & selling our used vehicles was something that I really enjoyed and after 20 years of running White's Transport Services Ltd, I knew that commercial vehicle sales was the direction I was heading.

Between September 2022 & October 2025 we have sold over 925 vehicles, which include trucks, trailers, plant machinery, farm machinery, vans & cars ranging from £2K to £365K. Our aim is to sell your vehicle and get you the best possible retail price.

Our fee for this is only £1000 + VAT, rather than go to a dealer and get bottom book, get the full amount of what the asset is worth, which can help towards the next purchase or cash flow.

Dealers take too much from each deal, buy for bottom book & sell for top book. I will find you a buyer, deal with all the questions and see each deal through till the end to make sure everyone is happy.
